 I have total of 4 Demat Accounts where I am both Trading and Investing in Stocks & Mutual Funds.

Out of which 3 are registered under CDSL (Central Depository Services Ltd.), While 1 is under NSDL (National Securities Depository Ltd.) 

CDSL founded in 1999 July with the aid of BSE Ltd.

Each Depository Participants (Demat Account holders) have unique DP Id while each Individual Client (like You & Me) signed up with DP will be given unique BO ID (Beneficiary Owner Identification Number).

        I have joined in 2021 JAN added HDFC Bank for transactions.
